Ori And The Blind Forest

Ori and the Blind Forest is a single-player-only platform adventure video gamdesigned by Moon Studios, an independent developer, and published by Microsoft Studios.
PlatformsXbox One, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows

    Gameplay:
Set as a 2D open world platform game, the player controls Ori, a white guardian spirit.[3] He has the ability to jump, climb and has many other abilities. Sein can also shoot Spirit Flames to assist in combating enemies or obstacles. Ori is required to interact with his environment as he jumps from platforms and solves puzzles. Ori is faced with enemies as he makes his way to restoring the forest. The player helps Ori collect health shards, energy shards, new abilities, and upgrades. Beside Ori is Sein who is the light and eyes of the Spirit Tree.

In addition to save points scattered in the game, players can create "soul links" at any time they choose to serve as checkpoints. However, soul links can only be created using energy cells collected during gameplay; the needed energy is not in abundant supply, forcing players to create them only when necessary. The player can also save ability points to buy various perks and upgrades, such as increasing the damage of the spirit flame. These upgrades can be bought anywhere a soul link has been created and the player has enough ability points to buy the skill they desire. An ability point is created when Ori collects enough experience by killing enemies and destroying various plants found throughout. Each skill must be bought in sequential order from one of three trees to allow the next, more expensive skill to be accessible.

    Gameplay:
Players can plan their attack before a match begins. The attackers have the ability to send a drone to detect the environment and to find the enemies and targets they are seeking for, while the defenders could fortify certain areas to prevent attackers' attack. The attackers can pick from multiple locations to deploy their attacks. Maps in the game are designed to be close-quartered, and players cannot respawn but can be revived by their fellow temmates after their defeat. The reason for that is that the developer wanted to encourage players to utilize teamwork, tactics, and to create tension throughout the game, which was called "the three main pillars" by Ubisoft Montreal. Time allowed for each match is also short. Verticality is among one of the key elements when designing the game's maps. Players can breach-charge ceilings and floors, as well as ambushing enemies by rappelling through breakable windows. Every actions performed by players except shooting teammates in the game grants players "Renown", which can be used to purchase new characters and weapons skins.

The game also features heavy emphasis on destruction, which is one of the major reasons that lead to the cancellation of Rainbow Six: Patriots. It is also "the center of the experience" of Siege in accordance to Andrew Witts, the game's designer. A procedural destruction system is featured in the game. Players can break structures by planting explosives on them, or to make bullet holes on walls by shooting it. The environments of the game feature a layered material system, in which environmental objects of different materials will show different reactions to player's attack. Players may gain tactical advantages through environmental destruction, and that the system aims at encouraging players to utilize creativity and strategy. In order to create a realistic gameplay, a bullet penetration system is featured, in which bullets deal less damage when they hit enemies through structures. In addition to destruction, players can also build fortified barriers and shields around them for protection, but can be destroyed through breaching and utilizing melee-weapons like hammers. In order to stop attackers' attacks, defenders can place traps like barbed-wire around the maps. Different modes are featured in the final game, including Hostage Mode, in which attackers must extract the hostage, either male of female, from the defenders, while the defenders must prevent that from happening.

The game also features a co-operative mode, previously called "Terrohunt" but now renamed to "Terrorist Hunt", which supports up to five different players. Players take on the role of either attackers or defenders, and must fight against waves of enemies controlled by artificial intelligence. The game does not feature a single-player campaign, but features a single-player tutorial mode called Situations and the Terrorist Hunt mode supports solo play.

    Gameplay:

Just Cause 3 is an open world third-person action-adventure game that will be set on a fictional Mediterranean island known as Medici with Rico Rodriguez set as the protagonist. The map size has been confirmed to be similar to that of the setting of Just Cause 2 with 400 square miles (1,000 km2) being dedicated for the new setting. However, its volumetric terrain has increased to allow more verticality – as a result of this, it is now possible for the player to explore subterranean caverns and to scale buildings more effectively and realistically. The world of the game is composed of five major biomes, with each having unique landmarks and landscapes.

A variety of tools will be provided to players for traversal in the game. Just Cause 2‍ 's signature features – the grappling hook and parachute – will be re-appearing with improved mechanics. The focus on chaos and exaggerated physics will also remain. A new wingsuit, which is permanently equipped by the player, will be featured in the game and allow players to glide across the world in a much faster way. When the player almost reaches the ground while utilizing the wingsuit, they can draw themselves back up in the air by utilizing grapples. Players can switch between utilizing the parachute and wingsuit freely during missions or free-roam. In addition to the equipment provided, a wide range of weapons, like missile launchers and shotgun RPGs, and vehicles, such as fighter aircraft, planes, ships, and exotic cars, will be included in the game. These vehicles can be customized by the player and can be used as weapons.

Other game mechanics have been overhauled and updated. For example, Rico now has the ability to attach and tether multiple objects together with his grappling hook, while parachuting is made more stable and allows players to shoot enemies from the air. Every object and non-playable character can also be hooked by the player with the use of the grappling hook. In-game currency has been left out of Just Cause 3, making the series' supply drops more easily accessible and imaginative for the player. However, this affects difficulty; for example, if the player chooses to ride a tank, the enemy AI will match the power of it and adopt weapons that would be able to take down a tank. Another new feature is giving the character infinite C4. Unlike previous installments that required players to purchase C4; Just Cause 3 instates this weapon to allow for more chaos. In Just Cause 2 players were able to stand on top of moving vehicles but only in the center; players are now allowed to move around on freely in Just Cause 3. Players can invade hostile military bases and towns featured in the game; they will act as fast travel locations if the invasion is successful.

    Gameplay:
Fallout 4‍ 's gameplay is similar to that of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, the previous two main entries in the series. Returning features include a camera that can switch from first person to third person view and the ability to roam anywhere on the map. Fallout 4 is supposed to feature more appealing gameplay, a layered armor system, base-building, a dynamic dialogue system featuring 111,000 lines of dialogue, an in-depth crafting system which implements every lootable object in the game, and much more. Enemies such as mole rats, raiders, super-mutants, deathclaws, and feral ghouls will return to Fallout 4, along with the companionDogmeat, who is incapable of dying.

Players have the ability to roam anywhere on the map, or leave a conversation at any time. They have the ability to customize weapons; the game includes over 50 base guns, which can be crafted with a variety of modifications, such as barrel types and laser focus, with over 700 modifications available. Power Armor has been redesigned to be more like a vehicle than an equipable suit of armor, and can also be modified, adding items such as a jetpack or selecting separate types of armor for each part of the suit. A new feature to the series is the ability to craft and deconstruct settlements and buildings. Players can select some in-game objects and structures, and use them to freely build their own structures. In addition, the towns can be powered with working electricity, using a dynamic power line system. Merchants and non-player characters can inhabit players' towns, for which players must provide sustenance by growing food in makeshift patches and building water spouts. Players can build various defenses around their settlements, such as turrets and traps, to defend against random attacks.

At the beginning of the game, players are given points to spend on a character progression system called SPECIAL. The system represents seven statistics, namely strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility and luck. When players gain enough experience points to gain a new level, they unlock a new ability. When players allocate more points to a stat, more abilities can be unlocked. These perks can also be upgraded to improve the protagonist's efficiency and to further unlock new abilities. There are about 275 perks available for players to unlock. In the game, players can recruit companions, who stay and accompany players and provide assists. Players can only take one companion at a time. There are 12 recruitable companions, some of whom can be romanced by the player There will be no level cap and the game does not end once the main story is complete. The Pip-Boy, a computerized wristwatch, allows the player to access a menu with statistics, maps, data, and items. Players can find game cartridges, which can be played on the Pip-Boy. Another returning gameplay feature is the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S.), which plays an important part in combat. While using V.A.T.S., real-time combat is slowed down, and action is played out from varying camera angles in a computer graphics version of "bullet time". Various actions cost action points, limiting the actions of each combatant during a period of time, and the player can target specific body areas for attacks to inflict specific injuries; head shots can be used for quick kills or blinding, legs can be targeted to slow enemies' movements, and opponents can be disarmed by shooting at their weapons. Unlike in previous games, in which the player had a random chance to inflict a critical hit, they can now be done at will with a button press. However, the option requires a recharge afterwards.
